We are seeking a capable and passionate experienced Casual Childcare Cook for our beautiful (60 place) Long Day Care Centre in Maroubra.

Must have cooking or menu planning experience.

Our centres are committed to education, nutrition and community.

Licence/Certification:

• Food Handling Certificate (Required)
• Working with Children Check (Required)

Responsibilities include:

• Cooking and preparing 5 meals, 2 days a week for 60 children
• Preparing meals for infants and toddlers (puree food)
• Maintaining the hygiene standards in the kitchen
• Maintaining a cleaning schedule in the kitchen
• Liaise with the Centre Director regarding stock of food
• Ordering of weekly produce and groceries
• Maintaining a budget
• Promoting good nutrition to children through cooking experiences and lessons
