Ocean Shores Early Learning Centre is a 52 place long day care service in the beautiful coastal town of Ocean Shores. The centre is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our dynamic team and lead high-quality educational programs for young children. In this role, you will create a stimulating, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that fosters children's growth, curiosity, and development.

As an ECT, you will play a vital leadership role in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS). You will also mentor and guide educators, build strong relationships with families, and contribute to a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences

Lead curriculum planning and reflective practices

Observe and document children’s development and learning

Foster strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and staff

Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards and centre policies

Mentor and support other educators within the team

Engage in ongoing professional development

About You

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)

Current registration with NESA

Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)

First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates (HLTAID012 or equivalent)

Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and child development

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
