ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Teachers to join our team commencing Term 3, 2025. As a MSV teacher, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of students who are disengaged or facing academic challenges. Our approach is grounded in the Science of Learning, utilising specialised Direct Instruction programs and an Explicit Instruction pedagogical framework to deliver measurable outcomes for students.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, deliver, and assess lessons using specialised programs such as:

Connecting Maths Concepts

Maths Mastery

Spelling Mastery

Corrective Reading

Essentials for Algebra

Expressive Writing

Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to achieve student learning goals.

Engage with families and the wider school community to support student progress.

REQUIREMENTS:

Current VIT Registration

An understanding and commitment to the Science of Learning

Experience in upper primary and/or lower secondary teaching

Demonstrated expertise in Direct Instruction and Explicit Instruction methodologies (preferred)

Strong references attesting to your reliability, teamwork, and dedication

A passion for working with students who require additional support to thrive
