St Michael’s Primary School is situated in Berwick, within the City of Casey, on the lands of the Bunurong/Boonwurrung Peoples. It is 90 km south-east of Melbourne, and easily accessible from the M1 freeway. Berwick is a mix of old and new, with the commercial centre hosting a 19th-century English village look, which hosts a strong café culture and plenty of eateries.
About the Role
St Michael’s Primary School has an enrolment of 446 students and is richly blessed with a proud community that is diverse and exciting. Our teams work collaboratively, planning together and supporting each other to ensure the best outcomes for our students. We have two positions available to join our team
Classroom Teacher: Full-time position (fixed term)
Commencement Date: 21 July 2025
Completion Date: 26 January 2026

Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting student progress in key learning areas
Implementing strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes.

Salary increases each January and July (Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited Schools and Secretariat Agreement 2022)

VIT registration
Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School is an advantage.
Exemplary teaching practice with proven classroom management practice
