About the positions

We are seeking a qualified Site Boilermakers and Fitters to join our team:

Day shift - 6am - 6pm (Fitters)

Night shift - 6pm - 6am (Boilermaker)

These positions will report to the Mechanical Coordinator.

Key Skills and Experience

Heavy crushing experience: Full strip down and rebuilds of crushing and screening equipment

Conveyor experience; change of bearings and gearboxes and tracking of conveyors

Strong fabrication experience - general purpose and industrial/structural

Strong hard-facing knowledge and experience

Screen mat changes

Breakdown experience

Full strip down and rebuilds of various pump types

Must have general hand tools up to 36mm including battery ½ in rattle gun, grinder and drill

Experience in problem solving hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Knowledge of hydraulic systems, pneumatics, diesel engines (desirable but not mandatory), transmissions, and other heavy equipment components

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine maintenance tasks
