Evolve Talent are seeking multiple Mechanical fitters & Trade Assistants for both full-time and casual positions. The works are on multiple heavy industry sites across the Sydney metro area. You will need to have previous experience working on heavy industry projects in Australia.

About the Role & Client
We are looking for Mechanical fitters and Trade Assistants for both shift cover and full time project based positions. You will need to have experience working in a fast paced environment, as well loud and dusty environments. Having the ability to work well in at team and adhering to safety procedures is a must.

• Undertaking scheduled preventative maintenance checks on plant equipment
• Rotating, adjusting, and replacing parts and equipment where required to ensure greater efficiency in the facility
• A strong focus on the facility's conveyor belts
• Welding and fabrications
• Installation of pipes and hydraulics
• Installation of conveyor systems
• Responding to site breakdowns, identifying faults and complete repairs
• Cutting, threading, bending, and installing hydraulic and pneumatic pipes, lines, and tubes.

Skills & Requirements

• Heavy Mechanical trade qualification (Plant or machinery)
• Experience in a heavy industrial environment highly desirable
• Flexibility to work weekends, overtime and different shifts where required
• Own tools
• White card
• Full working rights
• Ability to identify and resolve mechanical problems
• Able to start ASAP
