We are a well established tax & accounting practice based in Brisbane. We have a diversified client base and provide professional taxation and business services, which include tax planning, BAS & IAS, and bookkeeping.

THE CANDIDATE

We are seeking an experienced Tax Preparer (preferably a tax agent) to join our team for the tax season to monitor our tax email inbox and complete individual tax returns and client queries both over the phone and via email. This position is casual and would be around 15-20 hours per week on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. This would currently be an office based position but after tax season there may be an opportunity to transition to a hybrid role. We are looking for someone that can start immediately and help clear the backlog of work.

Must be experienced in preparing quality, high volume tax returns and have excellent email skills with knowledge of Excel, Word and Adobe. Candidate must have experience in Xero Tax.

You will be responsible for individuals and small business tax returns including GST returns as well as responding to client queries. You must be able to maximise clients' tax refunds while maintaining accuracy and compliance with TPB and ATO.

You will need have working in Australia rights - permanent resident or working visa acceptable.
