No, you don’t need to be an accounting nerd or a numbers-obsessed square. What matters is that you’re curious, thoughtful, and eager to learn. We use tools like a CRM that gives you a clear view of each client’s journey, and we provide structured guides and checklists to support your conversations so you can focus on meaningful interactions and getting it right the first time. You may even be a retired or semi-retired individual who wants to keep their mind active and enjoy the sense of purpose that comes from helping others in a professional and friendly environment.

What You’ll Do
Client Engagement

Interact with clients via phone, virtually or face-to-face, delivering a friendly, informed, and professional experience

Use your checklist and client profile to guide your conversations and make sure nothing gets missed

Build genuine relationships with clients—listen, ask smart questions, and help them feel confident in their financial decisions

Team Collaboration

Work side-by-side with experienced colleagues in a warm, team-focused environment

Share ideas, support each other, and contribute to improving how we work

Jump in to help with projects and client follow-up as needed

Tax Support & Training

Receive training in how to prepare individual tax returns for a range of client scenarios

Learn about different professions, investments, and deductions so you can spot what’s relevant to each client

Apply both your knowledge and common sense to help clients achieve the best possible tax outcome

Admin & Compliance

Keep accurate records and documentation

Follow internal processes and industry standards

Maintain organised client files and contribute to a smooth, compliant workflow

About You

You love learning about people and helping them feel looked after

You bring warmth, professionalism, and a sense of purpose to client interactions

You’re great with technology (especially MS Office) and confident using multiple systems

You’re proactive, organised, and can juggle multiple tasks

You’re open to casual, part-time, or contract work, particularly during the busy July–November tax season

You’re interested in finance, even if it’s not your background

You don’t need prior experience in tax—we’ll train you. What matters is your enthusiasm, empathy, and interest in building your professional confidence.
