Fire Suppression Technician

We currently have a position vacant for a qualified Fire Suppression Technician who has a sound mechanical background, excellent OH&S awareness and a solid background within the Fire industry.

Role

· Installation, repair and maintenance works to mobile fire suppression systems including foam, powder, dual agent, ROP and LOP

· Electrical and mechanical fault finding and diagnostics

· Updating fire equipment registers, inspection test reports and documentation

· Maintenance and service of firefighting equipment such as extinguishers, hose reels and blankets

The ideal candidate will have:

· A strong work ethic and high level of motivation

· Well developed customer service focus and friendly approach

· Demonstrated ability to manage your own workload

· Current EAHL licence is beneficial, however not essential

· Current drivers licence and high-risk tickets such as first aid, EWP, working at heights and confined space

· Ability to pass a medical, drug & alcohol screen and police clearance

This is a full time position and will require some out of town travel when necessary.

Remuneration will be relevant to qualifications and experience.
