Leeton Shire Council is seeking a qualified and experienced professional to coordinate and execute a number of defined critical asset management projects and initiatives in support of achieving reliable and efficient services.

· A salary in the Grade range of 12 to 15 in Council’s salary system ($77,079 - $101,353 pa) will be negotiated with the successful candidate based on qualifications, skills and experience

· 11.5% superannuation

· 70 Hours per fortnight

· A monthly Rostered Day Off is included

The primary purpose of the position is to investigate and support all aspects of engineering works such as design, construction, maintenance, project planning and project management of water and wastewater. There is some consideration of possibly including engineering works relative to solid waste management into this role.

The applicant will hold a Degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field and/or significant Water/Waste Water industry experience. Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.

Prior to commencement the successful applicant will be required to undergo Drug and Alcohol screening as part of a Functional Assessment.
