Hawkeye Services is a Western Australian professional services consultancy specialising in surveying, engineering solutions, and project management. With over 50 team members and a relationship-driven approach, we support major infrastructure, mining, and construction projects across the state.
Following our successful expansion into the Pilbara, where we partnered with Yurra to form the separate joint venture, Hawkeye Pilbara, Hawkeye Services is now growing its presence in the Midwest. About You
You’re an experienced Survey Coordinator ready to take the next step in your career, with the drive to grow both your surveying expertise and leadership capabilities. You lead through support and guidance, helping others become their best, and you take a genuine interest in the broader project, always looking for ways to add value and improve outcomes.
You’re confident managing people and projects, comfortable working with clients and stakeholders, and you bring a human, relational approach to every interaction. You thrive when given autonomy and responsibility, showing sound judgment and confidence in your surveying work.

Residential status in Geraldton is preferred, though a FIFO/DIDO roster may be considered for an exceptional candidate.
About Responsibilities
Lead our Midwest operations to achieve project and business objectives.
Coordinate service delivery and day-to-day operations.
Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and opportunities for growth in the region.
Represent all aspects of the company to clients, partners, and the local community.
Attract, develop, and retain top talent – putting the right people in the right roles.
Confidently undertake field surveying as needed, maintaining technical credibility.
Participate in operational meetings and contribute to leadership initiatives.
Resolve HSEQ issues effectively and escalate when appropriate.
Lead and contribute to the continuous improvement of field procedures and compliance standards.
Support team development through performance discussions and identifying talent for future progression.
Actively engage in team meetings, site communications, and leadership moments in the field.
About Success
Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying.
Extensive experience and strong technical capability at a senior surveyor level.
Desirable: familiarity with Leica equipment and 12d software.
Deep understanding of health, safety, and quality standards, with a strong commitment to compliance with legislation and client policies.
Proven leadership experience, with a track record of fostering a safe, positive, and high-performing team culture.
Belief that everyone is a leader, regardless of title or experience.
Team-oriented mindset—you thrive in collaborative environments.
A source of positive energy and momentum, taking initiative and meeting deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with colleagues, partners, suppliers, and clients to achieve the best results.
