As the Accountant / Financial Officer, you will work closely with the owners and take a hands-on approach to all aspects of the business’s finance function. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident professional who thrives in a fast-paced, growing company and enjoys working autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management financial statements

• Managing cash flow, budgets, and forecasts

• Overseeing and ensuring compliance with BAS, payroll, and statutory reporting requirements

• Handling day-to-day accounting operations

• Providing strategic financial insights to support business growth

• Working directly with the directors to drive financial performance and efficiency

About You:

• CPA or CA qualified

• Proven experience in a fast-paced industry (retail or supermarket experience highly desirable)

• Strong understanding of cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting

• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

• Hands-on approach with the ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines

• Experience with payroll and BAS preparation
