I am working with a newly-created statutory body, located in Brisbane, to find an AO6 Information Management Specialist.

This is a 6-month fixed term position, to start ASAP.

In this role, you will play a crucial role in the ongoing safe keeping of this organisation’s records and information, ensuring alignment to the new Public Records Act 2023.

Be responsible for putting information management policies and procedures in place, which will include:

  • A standard operating procedure document for information and records management
  • Developing business rules for information management
  • Creating naming conventions, access permissions, retention schedule and folder structures in the organisation’s EDRMS

To have your application considered, you need to be able to demonstrate that you:

  • Are experienced in information and records management to know what’s required as an ongoing solution
  • Are comfortable with communicating the suggested changes across the organisation and providing support and training to the organisation
  • Are able to develop standard operating procedures for the new records management function
  • Live locally to Brisbane and can work in the office as required
  • Have full Australian working rights
