The Opportunity: Assistant Director

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5 days per week
  • Location: Ashgrove
  • Hours: Up to 38 hours with flexibility
  • Compensation: Up to $40 per hour + super

We would love you to have:

  • A Diploma of Early Childhood Education
  • Previous experience as an assistant director
  • Use your amazing coaching techniques to help develop reflective practices
  • Identify areas of improvement and support educators in their planning
  • Demonstrate a high level of communication skills and maintain a professional manner in the workplace
  • Have a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
  • A current Qld Blue Card
  • Be passionate about a healthy lifestyle and good nutrition for our children

Our Company
Queensland Childcare Services has been around for over 30 years and aims to be at the forefront of the Early Childhood Education sector. Our 24 centres offer a range of services to our families such as beach, bush and farm kindy, swimming and Healthy Bodies Programs. We even have our own dietician! Our Centre
The Woods Early Education Centre was recently awarded as Exceeding the NQF in all 7 areas. Located in Ashgrove, just 250 metres from Ashgrove State School.­­­ Our Centre opened in January 1998 and cares for up to 90 children aged from birth to 5 years. We are passionate about sustainability and love to explore these practices with the children in our care.
