About the Role

We are looking for a locksmith with automotive and dispatching experience to drive business growth through:-

Excellent communication with regular and new clients

Organising bookings and daily runs for field locksmiths

Sending and following up quotes

Problem solving for clients

Completing workshop-based jobs when required

Tasks & responsibilities

Primary:

Quoting and scheduling jobs

Liasing with customers face-to-face, and on the phone and online via our CRM system

Growing business through excellent customer service

Ordering parts and liaising with suppliers

Maintaining and creating industry relationships

Secondary:

On occasion, this role may be called upon to help with workshop-based locksmithing tasks such as:-

Soldering & EEPROM work

Running vehicle diagnostics & problem solving

Cutting & programming replacement vehicle keys

Rekeying vehicles

Managing and processing inventory; preparing keys

Qualifications & experience

Must have qualification or equivalent experience as either an automotive locksmith, or general locksmith with auto experience

Experience dispatching mobile service teams will be highly regarded

Must have, or ability to qualify for a Class 2 QLD Security Licence (ie. have no criminal record)

Must have a current driver's licence (automatic)
