- Permanent Full-Time, Part-time or Casual – up to 38 hours per week

As a Childcare Assistant at Mungindi Community Mobile Daycare, you will work closely with our experienced educators to support the daily activities and routines within our childcare center. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in our care.
Key responsibilities and tasks: -
- Assisting in the implementation of developmentally appropriate programs for children.
- Supporting the delivery of educational activities that stimulate and engage young learners.
- Providing a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children.
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure effective communication and smooth functioning of daily routines.
- Monitoring and documenting children's progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones.

The ideal candidate would have:
- Completed or actively working towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Prior experience working with young children with the demonstrated ability to relate in a positive and caring manner and meet the individual needs of children ranging in ages 8 weeks to 5 years.
- Ability to communicate positively and effectively with adults and children.
- Effective supervisory and organisational skills, the ability to work as part of a team and maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a creative and stimulating program based on the needs and interests of the children.
Pre Employment Checks:
- A current NSW Working With Children Check Clearance (WWCC) - please note, you can obtain your WWCC during the application process
Ticket, Licences and Certificates:
- Provide First Aid in an Education and Care setting - HLTAID012 Certificate (current).
- Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training.
Immunisations required:
- Ability to provide evidence of vaccination/immunisation for Whooping Cough (Pertussis), Measles, Mumps & Rubella (MMR), Chickenpox (Varicella), Hepatitis A and B and Seasonal Influenza and maintain currency of this throughout your period of employment.
