Major Road Projects Victoria
VPS5 Senior Environment Advisor
- Hybrid working environment
- Up to 3 years fixed-term, VPS5 $113,022 - $136,747 + super & benefits
- The role will be located at 3 Bristol Street, Essendon Fields
Join us in building better connections for Victoria by:
- Providing timely advice on environment and planning compliance for the projects including obtaining secondary consents, preparation and implementation of management plans, compliance and reporting requirements.
- Managing the planning and approval processes including environment referrals and approvals and other approvals as required.
- Working collaboratively with planning, heritage and environment consultants to assist progression of project issues.
- Performing key actions required under MRPV's environmental management system including provision of high quality, timely and accurate review and advice on relevant environment documentation for the project; the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) and relevant sub plans.
- Contributing and supporting to the development of continual best practice in planning and delivery, including contributing to the development of plans, policies and guidelines, resulting in improved environment performance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice on a range of environment issues whilst working closely and building strong relationships with a range of government departments and industry stakeholders. They will also ensure the compliance of contractors with environment requirements and approval conditions services for Major Road Projects Victoria.
This opportunity is up to 3-years fixed-term.
It will be a requirement to travel and spend time at one or all our site offices.
