We're working with a stable and reputable business that's looking for a confident and proactive Collections Officer to join the team on a 3-month contract. Perfect for someone who enjoys chasing results, can build rapport quickly, and isn't afraid to pick up the phone.

What you'll be doing:
You'll manage your own ledger, follow up on overdue accounts, and work closely with internal teams and external customers to resolve issues. It's a hands-on role where you'll be relied upon to keep things moving and ensure timely payments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Chasing outstanding payments via phone and email
• Investigating and resolving payment delays or queries
• Allocating payments and reconciling accounts
• Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
• Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders

Who we're looking for:
You'll have previous experience in collections or accounts receivable, and you'll be confident handling tricky conversations while maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach. You're organised, solutions-driven, and able to jump into a new role with minimal hand-holding.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Solid experience in a collections or AR role
• Strong communication skills and confidence on the phone
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage a busy workload
• ERP system experience and a good grasp of Excel
• A positive, team-oriented attitude
