Are you passionate about trucks, haulage, and social media? 🚛📸 Merkanooka Haulage, a family-owned business based in WA, is looking for a driven and creative individual to join our team as a Content Creator & MC Road Train Operator.

Since 2011, we’ve been a leader in bulk haulage, crusher feed, and mine site services, and we want you to help tell our story. If you’re excited about documenting your journey from the driver’s seat to becoming a full-fledged FIFO MC Road Train Operator, this is the adventure for you!

The Role

This role offers the unique opportunity to combine driving with content creation. Whether you’re new to the industry or have some experience under your belt, we’ll support you in becoming an expert driver while sharing your journey across social media.

You’ll be responsible for:

Driving a Kenworth Road Train for mining and grain haulage operations.

Creating content: Confidently taking photos, filming videos, and documenting your career journey.

Engaging with our audience: Posting regularly on social media, building your following, and promoting the Merkanooka brand.

Drone Skills: If you’re already flying a drone, we’d love that! It’s a bonus, but not essential.

What You’ll Get in Return:

Competitive annual salary + superannuation (on all hours).

2-2 roster - 2 weeks on site rotating through our various mine sites and our grain haulage teams, 1 week at home editing content (paid time) and 1 weeks R & R

Full pay for stand-down periods (12 hours).

Permanent role with weekly pay (even on R & R), paid annual leave, and sick pay.

Training in mining and grain haulage from some of the best in the industry.

What We’re Looking For:

MC Driver’s Licence (unrestricted) is essential.

12 months+ experience in haulage or another area of the transport industry.

Passionate about trucks and the haulage industry.

Strong social media skills – you should be comfortable with taking photos, filming videos, and creating engaging content.

Drone flying skills are highly regarded.

Safety-focused, down-to-earth, and a team player who enjoys working both solo and as part of a team.

Excited about new challenges and adventures in the haulage and content creation space.
