About the role

As a Heavy Tow Truck Driver at Alpha Heavy Towing, you will play a crucial role in providing reliable and efficient towing services to customers in the Kemps Creek NSW 2178 area. This full-time position involves the safe operation of heavy tow trucks to recover and transport a variety of vehicles, ensuring customers receive prompt and professional assistance.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating heavy-duty tow trucks to recover and transport a range of vehicles, including buses, trucks, and other large equipment

Assessing towing requirements and selecting the appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure secure and damage-free transport

Providing exceptional customer service by responding promptly to callouts, communicating effectively with customers, and completing jobs in a timely manner

Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain the safety and roadworthiness of the tow trucks

Adhering to all relevant road traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies and procedures

Collaborating with the wider team to ensure efficient and coordinated towing operations

What we're looking for

A valid Heavy Rigid (HC) driver's licence with a strong driving record

Extensive experience (minimum 3 years) operating heavy vehicles

Excellent knowledge of towing techniques, equipment, and vehicle recovery methods

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly in emergency situations

A commitment to safety and a demonstrated understanding of relevant occupational health and safety regulations

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
