Brisbane Markets Limited (BML) is the proud owner and operator of the bustling Brisbane Markets in Rocklea, just 11km from the Brisbane CBD. Spanning 77 hectares, our site is home to over 160 tenants and more than 250 leases, including selling floors, warehouses, retail stores, and offices. Every day, more than 4,500 people pass through our gates, making BML a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Our Operations Team plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and secure marketplace – and now, we’re looking for a dedicated Industrial Site Cleaner to join us!

The Role

As an Industrial Site Cleaner, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our markets are spotless and well-maintained after a busy morning of trade. You’ll use a variety of tools and machinery, including:

Blower/Vacuum

Pressure Washer

Scrubber

Forklift

Vehicles & Trailers

You'll also assist with grounds maintenance tasks, working closely with our team to keep the Brisbane Markets looking their best.

Due to the nature of the Markets, the successful candidate will predominantly work between the hours of 7am and 3.30pm Monday to Friday.

What You’ll Need

A current Forklift License (LF) (highly desirable)

A C Class Licence (MR Licence desirable) with a clean driving record

Ability to drive with a trailer attached and operate blowers effectively

A solid understanding of safety principles

Great time management skills

The role is a permanent full-time position with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. The advertised salary is based on the hourly rate for the first 6 months, after which the rate increases. Applicants must be a permanent resident or Australian/NZ citizenship to be considered).
