The Opportunity:
2025 Queensland Hotel Association's Hall of Fame winner, The Full Moon Hotel's Bottlemart Boondall is seeking an experienced 2IC (Second-in-Charge) to support the daily operations of our detached Bottlemart Bottleshops.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who is enthusiastic, service-focused, and passionate about retail and the liquor industry. The ideal candidate will be proactive, approachable, and capable of leading by example in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in the day-to-day management of the bottle shop

Providing exceptional customer service

Supervising and supporting and developing team members

Receiving and unpacking stock, restocking shelves, cool rooms, and fridges

Maintaining accurate stock control and data entry

Upholding cleanliness and presentation standards

Providing exceptional customer service

Merchandising and promotional activations

What We’re Looking For:

Current Queensland RSA

Strong communication and customer service abilities

Valid QLD Driver's License and reliable transport

Competent computer and POS skills

Strong communication and customer service abilities

Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks

Minimum 6 months’ experience in a similar retail or bottle shop role

Willingness to work evenings and weekends

Desirable Skills & Experience:

Varied knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits

Previous experience in fast paced Bottle shops &/or Drive Thru’s

Experience with stock management, receipt, rotation and invoicing procedures

Current Forklift License or willingness to obtain a positive
