Mororo Quarry, located in Northern NSW.

Mororo Quarry are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plant Operator to join our team at our sandstone quarry. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery and a strong commitment to safety and quality. As a Plant Operator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our quarry, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain quarry equipment, including crushers, screens, and conveyors.
• Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to promote a safe work environment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of production data and equipment maintenance.
• Loading trucks to order quantities

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a plant or quarry environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of heavy machinery operation and maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• White card
• Valid NSW driver’s license
• High-risk work licence, forklift or heavy machinery certification is a plus.
