About the role:

Operating within School of Arts and Humanities (NSW), the Technical Services Lead, Visual Arts and Design coordinates and supports the effective operation of the Visual Arts and Design teaching studio facilities and preparation areas. Working closely with the Discipline DHOS, Creative Arts, this role will oversee the day-to-day activities of the Technical Officers and Technical Assistants to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical support for teaching and learning. The Technical Services Lead, Visual Arts and Design will maintain current knowledge of relevant legislation and standards, including Workplace Health and Safety legislation, associated codes of practice and standards and ACU policies and procedures.

What we offer:

Total remuneration valued to $109,558 - $117,682 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $92,578 - $99,443 (pro rata) pa (HEW 6), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. A 2.8% increase will be effective from the beginning of the last full pay period before 30 June 2025.

17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.

Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
