The Opportunity

We are seeking Registered Nurses to support our Surgical Ward at Warners Bay Private Hospital. Our Surgical Ward specialises in care for patients undergoing procedures including paediatrics, plastics, orthopaedics, ENT, urology, gynaecology and general surgery. This unit is fast-paced and provides case for both pre and post operative patients.

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

Skills and Experience

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in an acute health care setting
• Recent experience in a surgical ward
• Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient.
• Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others.
• Ability to work a rotating roster

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE $72,420.40- $101,704.72]
