About the Role

We're seeking a high-performing Recruitment Account Manager with a strong understanding of the Western Australian mining & construction sector to join our Perth-based recruitment operations team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing key client relationships, driving new business opportunities, and overseeing the end-to-end delivery of recruitment solutions—leveraging our specialist offshore recruitment teams. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, ensuring high-quality talent delivery and consistently exceeding expectations.

You will generate new business, build long-term partnerships, take job briefs, and manage the recruitment process from start to finish.

Your Core Responsibilities
  1. Client Management & Growth – Build long-term client partnerships, gather feedback, and proactively manage accounts.
  2. New Business Development – Drive outbound outreach, secure new clients, and manage the sales funnel from lead to placement.
  3. Job Briefing & Candidate Delivery – Take detailed job briefs, work with offshore teams, and present screened candidates within 72 hours.
  4. Talent Sourcing & Advertising – Create compelling ads, build strong talent pools, and ensure delivery speed.
  5. Candidate Quality Control – Conduct final interviews, meet compliance standards, and track placement success.
  6. Team Leadership – Brief and manage offshore recruiters, ensuring candidate submissions are accurate and aligned to client needs.
About You
  • Proven experience in business development or account management, ideally within mining, construction, or blue-collar recruitment
  • Strong track record of managing client accounts and building lasting strategic relationships
  • Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills—internally and externally
  • Commercially aware and results-driven, with a proactive approach to juggling multiple priorities
  • Passionate about delivering quality outcomes and eager to grow in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • Comfortable working collaboratively across onshore and offshore teams using modern recruitment tech
Preferred Qualifications & Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Commerce, or a related field (preferred but not essential)
  • Equivalent practical experience in high-volume, blue-collar recruitment environments highly regarded
  • White Card (Construction Induction) – desirable for site visits or client meetings in field-based roles
  • Current driver’s licence – essential for travel to client sites across WA
  • Membership with professional HR/recruitment bodies (e.g. RCSA, AHRI) is advantageous but not required
