About the role

Join the talented team at Commercial Hotel as a Cook/Chef. This position allows you to showcase your culinary skills and passion for creating delicious meals in a vibrant hospitality environment. Based in Young, NSW 2594, you will be an integral part of delivering exceptional dining experiences for our customers.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a variety of meals to a high standard using fresh, seasonal ingredients

Following recipes and plating dishes to ensure consistent presentation

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment

Assisting with menu planning and special event catering

Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer requests

Adhering to all food safety and workplace health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

Relevant qualification or experience in Commercial Cookery

Demonstrated experience as a cook or chef in a hospitality environment

Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, presentation and food safety

Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team

Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
