About Us

High Calibre Sports delivers multi-sport programs in remote communities across the Northern Territory, the APY Lands, and the NPY regions. We provide meaningful sporting experiences that inspire participation and help young people build skills, confidence, and community connections.

The Role

We are seeking a casual Youth Engagement Coach in Darwin to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who values flexibility, enjoys travel, and is passionate about using sport to make a positive impact.

As a Youth Engagement Coach, you will:

Deliver inclusive, engaging, and fun sports programs for young people in remote communities

Work with vulnerable youth, including in incarceration and alternative education settings

Inspire confidence, resilience, and positive engagement through sport

Support a culture of respect, teamwork, and inclusion

Travel to remote locations for program delivery, followed by a more relaxed, casual workload in between delivery blocks

This is a casual position, offering a variety of experiences and the chance to work as part of a small, supportive team. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people while enjoying a flexible and rewarding role.

You are comfortable working with vulnerable youth in a variety of settings

You are adaptable, reliable, and ready for the challenges and rewards of remote work

You enjoy sport and understand its power to connect and inspire

You are willing to travel, including long-distance driving and extended stays in remote areas
