We’re seeking a capable and committed Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team and take ownership of the daily service, team culture, and guest experience.
The Opportunity:
This is a hands-on leadership role in a tight-knit team, ideal for someone looking to make a meaningful impact and take full responsibility for the success of service and operations.
You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and the owners to drive consistency, maintain high standards, and continuously improve how the venue operates — while ensuring the experience for both guests and staff remains warm, smooth, and considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage floor service with confidence, stepping in wherever needed to ensure smooth, professional execution
Build and manage rosters that balance labour efficiency with team wellbeing
Oversee the booking system to maximise reservations and coordinate guest communications, including group enquiries and special requests.
Deliver effective pre-service briefings and ongoing training to keep the team engaged and informed
Support new team members through structured onboarding and mentorship
Collaborate with the Head Chef and owners on seasonal menu launches and service refinements
Ensure RSA, OH&S, and other compliance standards are upheld at all times
Manage invoices and work with our stocktake company to monitor beverage stock levels
Maintain high standards across venue presentation and readiness each day
Actively engage with guests during service and respond to feedback with professionalism and care
Monitor service flow and coordinate effectively with the kitchen to maintain timing and quality
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 2–3 years in a restaurant management or senior FOH leadership role
A calm, confident, and solutions-focused approach to service
Strong organisational and communication skills
An understanding of cost control, labour management, and operational systems
A genuine interest in Australian food and beverage
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
