About the role

We are seeking a talented kitchen hand to join our team at Heats Bakery in Cockburn Central, WA. This is a casual position, offering a flexible work schedule to suit your needs. As a kitchen hand, you will play a vital role in supporting our bustling kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth running of our hospitality business.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with food preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment by regularly cleaning and sanitising all surfaces and equipment

Replenishing stock and ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked with necessary supplies

Providing support to the chef and other kitchen staff as required

Following all food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure the highest standards of food quality and customer satisfaction

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a kitchen hand or in a similar role within the hospitality industry

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to meet deadlines

A passion for food and a desire to contribute to the success of our hospitality business
