Join the amazing kitchen team of one of Perth’s busiest dessert stores! Get Chunky is known for our gourmet NY style cookies. We have 5 stores across Perth and a Commercial Kitchen site in Malaga.

Kitchen experience is preferred but not essential.

We are looking to fill a casual Kitchen hand position at the Commercial Kitchen site in Malaga.

Location: Malaga
Role commencement: ASAP
Days & Hours: Monday to Saturday 9:30am-5:30pm

Skills:

• Ability to produce baked goods using manual and/or industrial processes

• Knowledge of recipes and production techniques for baked goods

• Knowledge of health, safety and hygiene regulations for food preparation

• Ability to multitask

• Physical strength and stamina (heavy lifting up to 25kgs)

• Organizational and planning skills

• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team

• Excellent time-management skills

Main Tasks:

• Working within a team of 4-10 people

• Weighing and measuring ingredients for the preparation of baked goods

• Producing prep ingredients

• Emptying and cleaning equipment

• Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift.

• Putting away delivered ingredients and rotating stock

• Light warehouse organisational duties

• Complying with food hygiene and safety requirements

• Producing large quantities of cookie dough

• Monitoring the quality of products produced

• Cleaning and restocking workstations

• Ordering supplies and liaising with suppliers
