About the Role:

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Connect and Thrive, you'll:

Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments and develop and implement individualised behaviour support plans

Work closely with clients to achieve their personal goals and foster their strengths

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care

Provide best practice supports in the delivery of positive behaviour support

A commitment to eliminating restrictive practices and supporting improved quality of life so individuals and families are able to live their best lives.

Participate in our unique farm-based programs to enrich client experiences or work from home providing mobile services

Bring your positive energy and person-centred approach to every interaction

As a psychologist at Connect and Thrive you'll:

Conduct psychological assessments such as for neurodivergence, cognition and learning.

Utilise evidence-based practice to deliver tailored interventions

Have opportunities to incorporate ecotherapy, adventure based or animal assisted interventions alongside standard psychological practice.

Deliver services under funding bodies such as Medicare or NDIS

Deliver therapeutic group-based programs from our farm-based setting.

What We’re Looking For:

A genuine passion for helping others

Professional experience in behaviour support/psychology

Flexibility, creativity, and a love for nature

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A commitment to continuous learning and growth

Have a passion for working with diversity and practice from a neuro-affirmative and trauma informed approach.

Must be registered with a professional body such as AHPRA or have been assessed at Core Behaviour Support Practitioner suitability level or above and have a relevant university level qualification.
