Part time, 7.5 hours per week until 12 December 2025

$61.60/hour (casual) plus 11.5% superannuation

We are looking for an energetic person with lived experience of family violence and incarceration to support the Advocates for Change Coordinator. Your main job will be to help deliver an intake/training experience supporting women victim-survivors who have been incarcerated.

Work will include supporting victim-survivors

Helping to organise training

Contributing to a respectful approach to working with victim-survivors who have experienced incarceration

You will be given training and support to be able to do the work

Key Responsibilities

Support the Advocates for Change Coordinator by encouraging victim-survivors who have been incarcerated to engage in the program

Helping to deliver a training experience for women victim-survivors who have been incarcerated.

Inform and support the training content and the delivery of the workshops.

Support Advocates with post-presentation debriefs.

Skills and Experience

Lived experience of family and/or sexual violence and incarceration.

Organising and communication skills.

Commitment to working within a decolonised, feminist, social justice framework.

Understanding of the importance of lived experience advocacy.
