About the role

First Journeys' is seeking a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our team in teaching in a School Readiness learning environment, with custom lesson plans provided to children. Our School Readiness program runs from 9am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, not including public holidays.

First Journeys is a family owned small business operated by two Early Childhood Teachers with a passion for teaching, inspiring, and authentically challenging, and enriching every developmental learning milestone of children. Each day consists of teaching lessons plans based on literacy and numeracy to prepare children for Kindergarten.

What you'll be doing

Teaching and engaging with educational lesson plans that support the development and learning of children aged 3-5 years

Building strong relationships with children and their families to ensure open communication and a collaborative approach

What we're looking for

A certificate, diploma or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education

Experience working as an Educator in an early learning environment

A passion for creating a nurturing, teaching learning environment

A valid Working with Children Check
