Our Centre

Pippies Early Childhood Centre is a 39 place, community based, not for profit centre, caring for children on the Tweed Coast of NSW for 28 years. The service offers high quality long day care services catering for children 6 weeks – 6 years. We are managed by an experienced volunteer parent management committee.

We support children in building the foundations for life-long learning and our philosophy views children as unique and capable people worthy of respect. We have a strong emphasis on engaging with children, families and the local community.

Pippies is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced person with a passion for early childhood education to work in our Pre School Room. The position is being offered as a permanent part time position (4 days per week) with a start date from July 2025.

As a Diploma qualified educator you will be responsible for developing, delivering and implementing programs to support children’s development and learning outcomes.

Essential Criteria

Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education

Previous experience working with children in an early childhood educational setting

Possess: First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates, current working with children check

Understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework

Work well as a team

Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including effective written and oral communication
