Velocity Lifts is growing — and we’re searching for an experienced Workshop Manager to take ownership of our busy Jamisontown workshop.

From factory acceptance testing to stock control, task allocation to safety, your day will be full of purpose — and your impact will be felt company-wide.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

Lead workshop operations to ensure lifts are manufactured on time and to spec

Manage and implement workplace SOPs, cleaning schedules, and safety protocols

Oversee FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and system documentation uploads

Monitor stock levels and place orders to ensure production flow

Manage incoming goods inspections and maintain clear records

Allocate daily workshop tasks to technicians

Participate in the on-call roster

Train and mentor team members in best-practice lift assembly and electrical safety

✅ What You’ll Bring

Current electrical licence (mandatory)

Experience in workshop supervision or team leadership

Strong organisational skills, with a commitment to quality and compliance

Confidence using digital systems to manage documents and stock

A passion for training, team culture, and continuous improvement

Bonus: Diploma of Engineering or relevant technical qualifications
