L’Hotel Gitan is a modern French/European inspired restaurant owned and run by the ever-expanding Reymond Family Group (includes Bistro Gitan, Frederic and Village Wine Bar). Located in the sought-after location of Prahran, L’Hotel Gitan offers a casual dining experience to the highest quality and standards and is currently looking for an experienced Commis chef.

About you:

The successful candidate will be someone with a love of food who is organised and shows exceptional attention to detail.

- Proven experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
- Excellent communication, delegation and leadership skills
- Resilient and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
- Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
- Must reside in Melbourne and have rights to work in the country (sponsorship is not available)
