About the role

Waikiki Private Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our theatre team in a full-time/ part time position. As a Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout & Anaesthetics, you will play a crucial role in supporting our surgical procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join our small and intimate hospital based in Waikiki, Western Australia.

We are looking for dynamic, driven nurses with a passion to work in theatres, specialising in Pain, Opthalmology, General Surgery, Bariatrics, Gynaecology, Orthopaedic, Plastics and Urology.

Working collaboratively in a multi disciplinary healthcare team

Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in theatres in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team, to achieve goals and positive health outcomes

Supporting perioperative patient care needs

Driving quality, patient care and delivering exceptional clinical outcomes

Fast paced, friendly supportive environment

What you bring

A minimum of 2 years experience in Perioperative Nursing.

Current APHRA certificate

Post -grad qualification in Scrub Scout or Anaesthetic with relevant clinical knowledge and expertise highly desirable but not essential.

Ability and drive to be adaptable and a team player.

Drive to learn and expand knowledge base as well as guide and support other staff

Excellent clinical skills, including the ability to problem solve and anticipate the needs of the surgical team

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team

Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
