Our client is seeking a reliable, physically fit candidate to work primarily at their West Nowra waste facility, with occasional shifts at other depot sites across the Shoalhaven region. This casual role involves varied duties across waste and recycling operations including the transfer station, gatehouse/weighbridge, buy-back centre, garden organics, bulky waste collection and others areas. This is a casual position with hours based on operational needs.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Providing customer service to visitors attending the depot
• General labouring and heavy lifting
• Medium Rigid Truck operations on site
• Site clean-up
• Weighbridge duties - basic computer operations

Essential Criteria

• Previous experience in waste management, civil construction, landscaping, general labouring/maintenance preferred
• WHS White Card
• MR Licence preferred
• Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service
• Understanding and commitment to WHS principles and practices
• Manual handling ability up to 25kg
• Basic computer skills
• Shortlisted candidates must be willing to undergo and pass a functional fitness test and drug and alcohol screening

Spread of hours: Monday to Sunday 7:15am to 5:15pm

Locations: West Nowra is the primary site, with occasional work at other locations including Berry, Huskisson, and Ulladulla.

Rate of Pay: $37.34 with MR licence. Weekend penalty rates.
