We are currently seeking a Fixed Term Full Time staff member to join our team based at our offices in Sunshine.
The role
Reporting to the ICT Planning and Delivery Coordinator, we are seeking an ICT Project Manager who can bring their skills and experience to:
- Plan, manage, and deliver identified ICT initiatives.
- Take full responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation, and satisfactory completion of large to medium-scale projects delivering intended ouctomes (typically with direct business impact and firm deadlines).
- Contribute sto selecting the requirements approach for projects, appropriate choosing from predictive (plan-driven) approaches, or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.
- Manges the change control procedure and ensures that project deliverables are completed within the agreed cost, timescale/schedule, and resource budgets are signed off.
To be considered you will have:
- Local government experience is desirable
- Tertiary qualification in computer science, or related technology/ICT discipline, as well as relevant experience related to project management or through a less formal qualification together with extensive and diverse experience.
- At least 5 years' of experience in an ICT Project Management role.
- Proven track record managing large, complex ICT projects in Agile, Waterfall, and related methods, successfully delivering projects on time and budget.
- Qualifications in PMBOK, PMP (or similar) project management certification.
