Supply Chain Manager
Location: Banksmeadow NSW

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor sales orders, forecasts and quotas to identify changes and predict effects on supply chain activities.
• Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, controlling inventory, warehousing, or receiving.
• Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution.
• Implement new or improved supply chain processes to improve efficiency or performance.
• Lead team supply chain management with other functional areas, such as finance, production, or quality assurance.
• to control procurement processes, create purchase orders in timely manner to ensure availability of raw materials and packaging on time to fulfil the customer orders on time.
• Analyse inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors and freight forwarders.
• Analyse information about supplier performance or procurement program success.
• Monitor suppliers' activities to assess performance in meeting quality or delivery requirements.
• Design or implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
• Ensure optimal inventory levels are held aiming to reduce inventory value whilst increasing service levels. Ensure safety stock mitigates risk due to fluctuations in demand
• Mitigate risk to supply through developing visibility of current inventory holdings and ensuring accurate demand forecasts
• Able to implement inventory management policy across ordering, min/max, safety, and slow/obsolete stock.

The right candidate Skills & Experience:

• Tertiary qualified with 5+ years' experience in health consumer product market
• A strong understanding of inventory planning with the ability to develop processes and standardization across the business
• Experience in managing suppliers and driving efficiencies through order patterns and planning systems
• Computer literate with exposure to ERP systems, NetSuite experience is plus
• Must be a Strong team leader to lead warehouse team and coordinator, who is motivated, driven, and can drive change in an inclusive and collaborative
• Both fluence in Mandarin and English in both oral and written
