Onslow Apartments and Rentals operates a serviced accommodation business in Onslow, consisting of 12 serviced apartments and 2 (sometimes more) houses. We are looking for an accommodation manager to perform the following tasks.
TASKS
Performs, organises and controls the operations of the serviced apartments and house rentals business to provide a short term, highly personalised accommodation service for guests, including:
· directing and overseeing office, reservation, electronic check-inn management (including for houses, by room), housekeeping activities, gardening and maintenance at all Onslow locations including by utilisation of company software packages;
· office duties including respond to emails/inquiries (particularly related to weekly accommodation requirements for long term rentals), process accounting into accounting package where directed by Perth office accountant, ordering of linen/accommodation supplies;
· housekeeping and laundry of rooms apartment rooms and common areas (walkways, common areas and stairs stairs) and houses including for back up (while on holiday, personal leave, sick leave etc.) of housekeeping of the controlling the selection, training and supervision of back-up housekeeping staff;
· general repairs and maintenance, including identification and in coordination with company calling off local contractors (a/c, plumbing, electrical etc);
· monitoring and maintaining state of gardens to ensure plants and lawns (all locations) are kept watered and in good health;
· reporting hours and activities undertaken in prescribed form to company on a weekly basis;
· maintain or coordinate consultants to maintain website www.onslowapartments.com.au;
· ensuring guests' needs, wants and comfort are satisfied during their stay; and
· ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
Able to live full time in Onslow.
A passion for customer service – meeting customer booker/representative and guest expectations with a strong work ethic with the ability to work autonomously.
Excellent time management skills.
Knows that hospitality can be 24/7 and therefore happy/willing to assist guests after hours if required.
To have clear communication skills, drive & enthusiasm to deliver exceptional customer service across all areas of the business.
