The Opportunity

My client in the manufacturing, wholesale and supply chain sector is currently on a look out for a technically astute accountant to step into a Finance Business Partner role.
They're a global brand and a leader in the Australian market with market coverage up to 40%.

The Role:

This opening comes about due to a maternity leave and is a great foot in the door. Reporting to the Finance manager your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Budgeting, financial planning and analysis
• Month-end/Year-end activities
• Supervising credit, billing and payables teams through the provision of reconciliation.
• Management reporting
• Contract negotiations/proposals.
• Business partnering with operation/supply chain team.
• Process improvements
• Ad hoc tasks

About you:

• CA/CPA qualified
• Minimum 5 years experience in a relevant role
• Ideally someone from retail/manufacturing/wholesale/supply chain background with strong attention to details
• Excellent written and communications skills
