About the opportunity
We’re seeking a skilled Electrical Commissioning Superintendent to support the delivery of utility-scale solar projects across Australia. This is a key leadership position responsible for guiding the commissioning phase from end-to-end, ensuring systems are fully functional, compliant, and ready for operation. You’ll manage electrical commissioning activities across PV modules, inverters, transformers, and associated systems while coordinating with site teams, contractors, and external stakeholders. Your role will include system testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and ensuring a seamless handover to operations. The company prefers someone based in Brisbane, but is open to candidates from any East Coast city due to the FIFO nature of the work (3/1 roster).

Requirements of the position
- Solid background in renewable energy, ideally solar farm commissioning
- Trade-qualified Electrician or Electrical Engineer
- Strong knowledge of relevant electrical legislation and Australian standards
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on commissioning experience in Generation Projects
- At least 2 years of on-site leadership experience managing commissioning teams
- Competence in PV testing, inspection, and performance assessment
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and I&C equipment
- Effective communicator with strong coordination and documentation skills
- Microsoft 365 proficiency
- Current driver’s licence
