Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to manage your own caseload while contributing your expertise to our diverse client base. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessments, report writing, intervention, and management for individuals with a wide range of presentations and needs within the NDIS & Aged Care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct occupational therapy assessments, utilising a variety of standardised tools to identify the client's needs and goals.

· Develop individualised, evidence-based intervention plans in collaboration with clients and their families/carers, focusing on functional outcomes and participation.

· Deliver high-quality, engaging and effective therapy interventions in clinic, home, aged care facilities, school, workplace, online and community settings as required.

· Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including assessment reports, progress notes and discharge summaries, adhering to professional standards and NDIS and aged care requirements.

· Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, families/carers, support coordinators and relevant stakeholders, providing clear explanations and recommendations.

· Work autonomously to manage your schedule and caseload efficiently.

· Adhere to strict ethical guidelines and professional standards set by Occupational Therapy Australia and AHPRA.

· Participate in regular team meetings and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Essential Requirements:

· Bachelor’s or master's degree in occupational therapy.

· Current registration with OTBA under AHPRA.

· Minimum of 2+ years of postgraduate clinical experience.

· Current professional indemnity insurance with adequate coverage.

· National Police Check

· WWCC

· NDIS workers screening check

· A reliable car with comprehensive insurance coverage

· Demonstrated experience in assessing and treating a diverse range of conditions and age groups.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal and report writing skills.

· Strong understanding of evidence –based practice and its application in clinical settings.

· Ability to work independently, manage time and prioritize tasks.

· Understanding of the NDIS framework, including goal setting and reporting

Desirable Requirements:

Experience using cloud-based software (Power diary/ Zanda or similar software)
