About the role

Aster and Sweetpea Services' is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team to service the Central Coast, NSW on a contract basis. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, treating and rehabilitating our clients to help them achieve their functional goals and live more independent lives.

What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients' strengths, limitations and needs

Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to address clients' physical, cognitive and psychosocial needs

Providing hands-on therapy, including activities of daily living training, adaptive equipment recommendation and prescription

Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to client care

Documenting client progress and outcomes in line with regulatory and organisational requirements

Participating in professional development activities to maintain and enhance your skills

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy

Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Minimum 2 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist, in a child-hood related role

Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, families and the multidisciplinary team

Proficient in using technology, including electronic client management systems

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
