Clerk Grade 9/10 with a salary range of $125,693 - $138,510 per annum plus superannuation & leave loading

Hybrid work environment, 3 days minimum in the office per week.

About the role

In this newly created role, you will play a key part in the development of finance and accounting policy frameworks that support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

Your expertise in technical accounting will be essential in providing high-quality advice, preparing technical position papers and policy positions, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

About You

You are a highly skilled and experienced finance professional with CA or CPA qualifications and a proven track record in developing and interpreting finance policies.

You have strong technical expertise, and exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. You are someone who values integrity, transparency, and collaboration.

You thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and are committed to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Your deep knowledge of accounting standards and financial governance, combined with your ability to solve complex and sensitive issues will be key to your ultimate success in this role.

In addition, we are looking for someone with the following experience:

Strong technical accounting knowledge, with the ability to clearly articulate complex accounting issues to diverse stakeholders

Experience advising Executives and senior leaders, with a demonstrated ability to influence decision-making in a complex financial governance environment

Proactive approach to driving innovation and continuous improvement in financial reporting, systems and processes

Tertiary qualifications in accountancy, commerce, finance or relevant discipline

CA and/or CPA qualified
