ROLE

The company is currently going through an exciting phase of growth, and an amazing opportunity is available for a Senior Account with 5+ years’ experience. The role will primarily be responsible for the completion of accounting and financial reporting.

In addition to these tasks, you will have the opportunity to be involved in key transformational projects relating to the updating accounting software systems and reporting and streamlining accounting and administration processes.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Timely and accurate preparation of Victory Minerals Management monthly and financial accounts

Preparation of statutory reports including BAS, diesel fuel rebate and yearly FBT returns

Reviewing GL and preparing journals where required

Monthly capital and tenement reports

Maintain fixed asset register

Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet and profit/loss statements

Preparation of company budgeting and forecast processes

Assist with half year end and end of year audits

Assist with cash flow forecasting and management

Key Pronto administration role

Assist the Finance Manager as directed

Qualifications and Experience

Mandatory:

Degree Qualified Account

Min. Five (5) year accounting experience, with 2 to 3 years’ experience in financial/management accounting

CA/CPA preferred

Experience with ERP systems (Pronto would be advantageous)

Proficient with Office suite of products (Excel, Word and Outlook)

Attention to detail

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent time management and prioritization skills

Good communication skills – both verbal and written

Team player, working well with a diverse group of people

Have a positive, can-do attitude

Desirable:

Previous mining experience would be considered highly advantageous
