This is a Recruitment Pool for suitably qualified Clinical Midwives covering: Permanent - Full Time, Permanent - Part Time, Fixed Term - Full Time, Fixed Term - Part Time and Casual appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2025.

Position Profile: WACHS - South West is seeking to establish a pool of dynamic and skilled Midwives for upcoming Clinical Midwife appointments.

In this role you will provide continuity of midwifery carer within a caseload midwifery led model throughout the continuum of pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postnatal period. You will work within a group practice and provide support and backup for the woman either at home or in the hospital.

The emphasis is on the provision of safe, effective care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Within the midwifery group practice the woman and her family is central to the care and provided in a culturally appropriate manner.
