This is for a Permanent or Fixed Term Full Time appointment at various hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Midwife Specialist – Endorsed Midwife to join the team at Carnarvon in the Midwest.
To be successful, you will have...
- An endorsement for scheduled medicines for midwives with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Advanced clinical experience, knowledge and leadership in midwifery care across the continuum.
- Well-developed clinical problem-solving skills including conceptual and analytical ability.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including negotiation skills.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislative and health regulating Acts including legislative obligations.
- Experience in quality improvement, its practical application in meeting patient’s needs and its relationship to strategic development.
Position Profile:
This role provides advanced midwifery assessment, diagnosis, care and intervention to pregnant people and families within the scope of practice of an Endorsed Midwife.
